Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Rhode Island Medical Imaging. As a Per Diem Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography examinations, providing excellent patient care, and working collaboratively with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography examinations, including diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast biopsies, and other related procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and promote comfort and relaxation.
• Assist radiologists in the completion of mammography examinations, including positioning patients and operating equipment.
• Produce high-quality images for radiologists to interpret, ensuring accurate and precise results.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, examination results, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• ARRT registration in mammography.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a mammography technologist.
• Strong knowledge of mammography equipment, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
