We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barista to be part of our team at The Gathery. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing high-quality coffee drinks and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for coffee, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a Barista at The Gathery, you will be responsible for:

• Welcome guests with a smile and create a positive first impression.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Explain menu items to guests, ensuring they feel informed and confident in their choices.
• Prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex creations.
• Enter orders into the POS system with precision and speed.
• Bus tables and maintain a clean work environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and certification (ServeSafe or Food Handlers).
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, allowing you to think critically in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
