Job Summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care to include assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs, and Accu-checks under the supervision and direction of the nurse.
  • Monitor vital signs and blood sugars.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition.
  • Measure and document input/output and weights.
  • Assist nurse as needed.
  • Answer call lights.
  • Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient.
  • Distribute drinks and/or snacks.
  • Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.
  • Adhere to CCH attendance policy.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant I.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
