Job Overview

Position: Production Equipment Technician

As a key member of our team at Nemera, you will be responsible for supporting and upholding all company policies, including ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S Standards.
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of products according to production specifications, identifying any defects.
  • Report any visual defects to the Supervisor or Process Technician promptly.
  • Package and label products in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Input daily production and scrap data into the Mattec system.
  • Operate assembly or packaging equipment as required based on product specifications.
  • Complete necessary production and workstation documentation.
  • Engage in Lean initiatives and contribute to lean projects.
  • Perform in-process visual inspections to detect significant defects.
  • Fill out and complete QC Information tickets accurately.
  • Conduct inspections during the process to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Offer suggestions and actively participate in process improvements to eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities for assembly and auxiliary equipment.
  • Manage the Kanban system associated with the work cell to ensure proper staging of materials.
  • Set up and operate scales as required.
  • Complete cycle checklists diligently.
  • Perform TPM activities for IMM and molds.
  • Respond to alarms, manage the stopping and restarting of molding machines, and perform press mold cleanings as necessary.
  • Oversee Lot Record Package management, including printing SAP documents and labels, and managing lot openings and closures.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
