About the Role

The Senior Electrical Engineer position at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee electrical engineering services in Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing electrical engineering projects, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely completion of residential and commercial projects of varying complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, energy codes, and other related standards.
  • Design electrical systems, including distribution, transfer switching, UPS, grounding, lighting, life safety, emergency systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Prepare concept designs, load calculations, schematics, and system reports, analyzing customer proposals and specifications to provide cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle to deliver successful outcomes, manage expectations, and address additional service or fee requirements.
  • Mentor and coach the project team to ensure technical accuracy, assigning duties, and supporting development as needed.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer with registration in 1 or multiple states.
  • 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with some leadership experience.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Solid knowledge and application of the electrical requirements per building codes, energy codes, and other related standards.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent client and project management skills.
  • Strong Leadership skills, able to delegate and manage staff and teams.
  • LEED Accredited Professional is preferred but not essential.
