Job Description

MRI Technologists use computerized MRI scanners to take 3D images of patients' bodies, explaining the testing process and preparing patients for examination. They record images and hand over results to physicians treating patients, while maintaining MRI instruments during image processing.

Traveling MRI Techs require attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in hospitals and medical diagnostic centers.

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of recent experience in this setting
  • Valid professional license or registration if required by state
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required
  • Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per discipline
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
