Overview:
The Mercy GIG Nursing Program is designed to complement the core nursing staff at Mercy Hospital. GIG nurses are highly skilled Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who commit to working flexible hours.
Participation in the GIG Nursing Program requires scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being flexible and subject to last-minute shift cancellation.
The GIG Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first to be cancelled.
Program Benefits:
- $30/hour base rate
- Variable shift incentives
- Minimum 1 shift in 90 days
- 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts available

Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current LPN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Minimum 1 year LPN experience, specialty specific or equivalent, within the last year
- BLS certification
- IV-certification or completion of a qualified course
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years LPN experience
