As a Health Information Specialist II Onsite, you will be responsible for processing release of information (ROI) requests, maintaining confidentiality and security of patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records, adhering to Company and Facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with training and development of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Generate reports for management and/or facilities as directed, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in health information related fields.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with software applications.
