Key Responsibilities of the Automation Solutions Engineer:

  • Utilize expertise in IT-centric systems to troubleshoot and identify issues effectively.
  • Design and implement critical automation components for equipment projects, including PLC, vision, and HMI programming.
  • Oversee the design of electrical panels.
  • Configure PLC programming for standard equipment/products.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks requiring a deep understanding of machine control systems and operations.

  • Monitor and execute periodic reviews and validation master plans for the automation engineering program.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities operate safely and reliably.
  • Create and enhance standard operating procedures and system support documentation.
  • Analyze operational process challenges and recommend effective corrective and preventive measures.

  • Engage in site and network-wide teams to align and direct cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Provide continuous support for automation systems and carry out automation tasks for various projects.
  • Modify complex control logic requiring scientific and manufacturing process expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Digital Transformation is advantageous; familiarity with Kneat is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer is required.
  • This position necessitates onsite work.
  • Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated utility, processing, filing, inspection, and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to generate user requirement specifications for control systems.
  • Capable of making minor modifications to code and HMI graphics for smaller adjustments.
  • Proficient in reading logic and performing programming, as well as updating control system documentation.
  • Contribute technical content to validation protocols for automation systems and execute these protocols.
