Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital member of our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at the University of Maryland Medical System.
The PACU consists of two specialized sections:
Inpatient PACU - a 17-bed recovery area focused on providing comprehensive nursing assessment and intervention for all patients recovering from anesthesia (Phase I and Phase III).
Outpatient PACU - a 15-bed and four-recliner recovery space catering to ambulatory patients post-anesthesia (Phase I and Phase II). This area also accommodates day admissions for intravenous infusion therapies and blood product transfusions, as well as recovery for interventional radiology patients.

- Active RN licensure in the state of Maryland or eligibility to practice under a compact license;
- BSN preferred (Associates Nurses with a minimum of 1+ years of experience will be considered);
- All candidates should possess at least 1-2 years of preferred experience in Telemetry, ICU, ED, and/or PACU nursing within an inpatient setting.
