About the Position

As a Critical Care Registered Nurse with Verovian Nursing Agency, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, monitoring and assessing their vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices in critical care nursing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • BLS, ACLS, and Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
  • Certification in Cardiac Surgery Nursing (CSC) preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in critical care or cardiac care, with specific experience in a CSICU or similar setting preferred.
