Job Title: Police Officer

Department: Public Safety

Facility: Baylor Scott & White PGA Parkway

The Police Officer is a sworn officer responsible for law enforcement, security, loss prevention, and customer service duties. They maintain law and order on hospital grounds, patrol and protect buildings and grounds, and conduct administrative and criminal investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol assigned areas to detect and deter crime
  • Apprehend subjects committing crimes
  • Respond to emergency calls and safety escorts
  • Produce complete and accurate reports
  • Participate in crime prevention strategies and special programs

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or 4 years of work experience
  • 2 years of experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Licensed Peace Officer (LPO) certification in the State of Texas
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
