Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and operating diagnostic equipment.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety protocols.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience by maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling patients, and overseeing patient transportation.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (preferred).
