The Industrial Athletic Trainer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive worksite injury management and health improvement program for employees at Pivot Onsite Innovations.
Key Responsibilities:- Wellness Assessments: Conduct thorough wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for prevention.
- Program Development: Design and implement site-specific wellness initiatives and programs to promote employee health and well-being.
- Ergonomic Interventions: Use innovative solutions and employee empowerment to design and implement ergonomic interventions that reduce the risk of injury.
- First Aid and Treatment: Provide first-aid treatment and management for musculoskeletal complaints, including the use of ice, heat, wellness stretches, massage, tape techniques, and non-rigid bracing.
- Injury Assessments: Conduct orthopedic injury assessments and participate in education and injury prevention activities.
- Treatment Plans: Coordinate and implement treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessary.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and execute administrative tasks, including collection of data, completion of forms, documenting patient files, and generating reports for return on investment and budgets.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehab and injury prevention activities and serve as a patient advocate for non-occupational injuries.
- Meetings and Committees: Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested by the client.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Certifications: Board of Certification (BOC) certified and state licensure/certification.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees.
- Continuing Education: Reimbursement for continuing education expenses.
