As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in identifying and executing process enhancements to streamline operations and minimize waste. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and orders are processed in a timely manner. This position demands outstanding organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills to effectively lead and inspire teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support production supervisors and managers in organizing and coordinating manufacturing processes to achieve production goals.
  • Ensure the availability of materials and supplies for production by liaising with purchasing and inventory departments.
  • Monitor production expenses and pinpoint opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Work with maintenance teams to guarantee that equipment is well-maintained to reduce downtime.
  • Facilitate training and development programs for production staff to improve skill sets and productivity.
  • Uphold compliance with safety standards and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all production personnel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of production activities for future reference and analysis.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to confirm that finished products adhere to established specifications and standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and propose process enhancements to boost production efficiency and product quality.
  • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a similar role such as production supervisor or lead.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with specific software applications utilized in manufacturing.
