As a Feed Mill Operator at CHS, you will be responsible for operating feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Feed Manufacturing Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate all feed manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Record and Document Feed Production: Perform necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Mix and Prepare Livestock Feeds: Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality, meeting company standards and customer expectations.
- Determine Feed Routing and Distribution: Determine proper routing and distribution for manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management.
- Strong Organizational and Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately and efficiently perform tasks, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting.
