Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care and encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required, with a preference for experience in Family medicine or primary care practice.
- Provide holistic, evidence-based care, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation, is required.
