Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for a contract assignment in the East Rochester, NY area. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to expand their experience and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with communication disorders.

About the Role

This contract position will involve working with K-8th grade students who require speech and language therapy services. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing student needs, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of services.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders and making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
  • Providing comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within established state guidelines
  • Developing integrated goals with education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities
  • Consulting with school staff and parents on inclusion of materials to support speech and language development
