We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the care and rehabilitation of patients who require continued care to recover completely.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs.
- Assess patients' needs and identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.
- Work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Observe and evaluate treatment affect, accomplishment of short and long term goals, and recommend change to physician, if needed.
- Perform an appropriate assessment on each patient and perform reassessments, as per policy, and perform accurate and timely QI scoring.
- Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation and make appropriate interventions to reduce pain.
- Formulate and update patient specific plan of care for physical therapy.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
- Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR Card.
