Obstetrics-Gynecology Clerkship Director

We are seeking a highly qualified Obstetrics-Gynecology Clerkship Director to join our team at Rocky Vista University. This part-time position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Obstetrics-Gynecology core curriculum, developing content for years 1 and 2, and providing clinical career advising and NRMP match support for Obstetrics-Gynecology.

• Develop and oversee all aspects of the 3rd year Obstetrics-Gynecology core curriculum, including clinical assessment.
• Recruit clinical faculty to create and support quality Obstetrics-Gynecology clinical rotations.
• Work in conjunction with the Associate Dean/Clinical Affairs and other medical educators to develop appropriate faculty development for the Obstetrics-Gynecology adjunct faculty.
• Participate in clerkship rotation site visits and inspections to ensure quality student experiences and faculty compliance to the Clinical Education Manual.
• Assist in the development of assessment tools, including standardized patients, for evaluation of Obstetrics-Gynecology competencies.
• Serve as the liaison between RVU-MCOM Clinical Education and Obstetrics-Gynecology Preceptors.
• Help oversee evaluations of adjunct clinical faculty for clerkship rotations, in the assigned region(s).

• Board certification in Obstetrics-Gynecology.
• One (1) - two (2) years of experience in medical education.
• Maintenance of a medical license.
• Four (4) - six (6) years of experience in medical education.
• Previous work experience in a medical school.
