Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our mechanical systems, with a focus on plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing, HVAC, and building mechanical systems.
  • Monitor and maintain heating and cooling equipment, pressure boiler systems, and other critical systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system shortcomings, and respond to operational and emergency situations.
  • Review logs to ensure proper operation of equipment, and report any problems or malfunctions.
  • Communicate with work order requestors to understand their needs, and write and maintain maintenance work orders and material requisitions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of working experience in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through oral and written reports.
  • Proficient computer skills necessary for daily work and communication.
  • Able to safely perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and turning.
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs. on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Holding a Journeyman license in plumbing or HVAC.
  • Having completed trade, technical, or vocational schooling.
