About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Trauma Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Methodist Medical Center. This role involves coordinating and facilitating trauma care for patients admitted to our hospital, ensuring they receive high-quality treatment and support throughout their stay.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. A Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent experience and knowledge is required, along with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized plans of care to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate trauma care, including trauma resuscitations and ongoing medical management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes.
