About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The MRI Radiologic Technologist provides technical knowledge and coordinates the delivery of MRI services. Under the direction of a qualified physician, this position operates a variety of equipment including high field strength magnets and support systems with MRI safety as a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient coordination, acquisition, processing, and archiving of all patient data
  • Maintaining and operating equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Reporting all problems appropriately
  • Training new staff as well as existing staff on new technologies

Requirements:

  • ARRT approved MRI Certification, or ARRT approved MRI Certification within six months of hire for new grads
  • BLS Certification
  • Venipuncture Certification
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology training program from an AMA approved school
  • Minimum 1 year training experience with high field magnetic resonance system or a minimum of 750 hours through an approved AMA program with previous healthcare experience in a diagnostic imagine acute care setting

Salary: $108,118 - $124,662 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

Location: UCSF Health facilities in Burlingame, CA, San Francisco, CA, China Basin (SF), Mission Bay (SF), Parnassus Heights (SF)
