Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Cashier/Receptionist who possesses outstanding customer service abilities and a positive demeanor. This role involves managing incoming calls, assessing the nature of inquiries, and directing callers appropriately. The candidate will also need to demonstrate basic accounting skills and familiarity with standard accounting processes in both accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions from customers, ensuring accurate recording on repair orders or counter tickets.
  2. Provide accurate change and issue receipts to customers.
  3. Answer phone calls and route customers to the correct department while ensuring timely follow-up.
  4. Engage with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, aiming to reduce hold times.
  5. Address customer complaints with diplomacy and refer them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  6. Assist management with various administrative tasks as required.
  7. Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  8. Gain familiarity with departmental structures and internal procedures to assist customers effectively.
  9. Organize and digitize documents within our Document Management System (DMS).
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Cashier/Receptionist is advantageous.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to convey customer interests, needs, and requests to management and sales teams.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Possession of a clean driving record.
