About the Job

We are hiring a Medical Assistant to work in our Family Medicine department at Pen Bay Hospital. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and wellness.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain vital signs and room patients
  2. Reconcile medical records and track quality measures
  3. Provide exceptional customer service and return patient calls

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification (preferred)
  • BLS certification within 3 months of hire
  • 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider setting (or equivalent)
