Physiatrist Opportunity at Concentra

We are seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team as an independent contractor at Concentra, one of the largest healthcare companies in the nation.

About the Role

This contract position is designed to complement your current practice, offering a flexible schedule with a typical partnership involving treating patients on site for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist services, including EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries
  • Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management
  • Work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to assist in the management of medically complex patients and expedite return to work and functional restoration
Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries
  • Licensure requirements of the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance that will cover you while on site
