Role Responsibilities

This role encompasses the assessment and treatment of patients across various age groups who present with diverse impairments and functional challenges. The Physical Therapist will implement evidence-based treatment protocols and systematically evaluate treatment outcomes. This position also involves providing high-quality patient care and facilitating educational initiatives for rehab staff, other departments, and the community regarding wellness and rehabilitation.

Key Duties
  1. Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver physical therapy interventions to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients, adhering to evidence-based best practices. This includes maintaining accurate documentation.
  2. Collaboration and Supervision: Direct and oversee the activities of Physical Therapist Assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations and the integrity of the physical therapy plan of care.
  3. Community Engagement: Participate in interdisciplinary committees and community outreach programs focused on wellness, sports performance, and rehabilitation education.
Qualifications

Education and Licensure:

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Licensed in the State of Wisconsin and/or Minnesota
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Board Certification as a Specialist is preferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Physical Demands
