Unit Description:
Our 7 West ICU is a specialized 10-bed unit focused on post-operative care for patients undergoing vascular and cardiac procedures, as well as those experiencing strokes and various critical conditions. This role offers nurses the opportunity to work with advanced medical technologies, including Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be necessary for specific units
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
