Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our pediatric services.
Key Responsibilities:- Prescribe and recommend medications and treatments in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with staff to evaluate, treat, and monitor research subjects in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Monitor patients for treatment-related toxicities and adverse reactions, and provide emergency treatment as needed.
- Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and document patient information.
- Provide clinical coverage and promote patient safety.
- Offer health maintenance, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, as well as education and counseling.
- Initiate and coordinate patient visits, drug orders, laboratory procedures, consultations, and treatments.
- Document and monitor patient side effects related to study interventions.
- Monitor patient drug compliance and document missed doses.
- Manage and report irregularities in patient medical care.
- Order and adjust trial medication as per protocol and clinical center policies.
- Review patient charts to collect clinical data and analyze patient responses.
- Communicate with patients' home physicians and family care institutions.
- Assist with protocol-related submissions to the IRB.
- Assess and track patient illnesses and support overall diagnosis and clinical research.
- Participate in clinical conferences and provide comprehensive patient management support.
- Develop written protocols for patient management and provide comprehensive care planning.
- Diagnose and manage common acute or stable chronic health problems, injuries, and illnesses.
