We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly and Test Technician II to join our team at Ingenium Aerospace LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality control of our aerospace products.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test aerospace hardware and components in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and implement efficient assembly and testing processes to ensure high-quality products and meet production deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues and improve product design.
- Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and support the development of new team members.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace assembly and testing, with a strong background in quality control and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and DO-160.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with aerospace shop equipment, including oscilloscopes, meters, and test stands.
- Aerospace experience, with a strong background in quality control and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of certification/qualification testing per DO-160 or MIL-STD-810.
- FAA A&P License and FAA repair station experience.
- Certification for soldering space applications electronic hardware to IPC J-STD-001E standards.
The office environment is considered normal. Temperature and noise levels in the plant may require regular use of personal protective equipment.
The candidate must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
