Recreation Therapist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recreation therapy, with a focus on creating a therapeutic environment that promotes socialization, creativity, and skill-building. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:- Conduct therapeutic recreation programs to promote physical and mental rehabilitation
- Direct patient participation in activities such as games, social events, sports, and music
- Create a therapeutic environment that fosters socialization, creativity, and skill-building
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field
- Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Registered Therapeutic Recreator (RTR) preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in Behavioral Healthcare, rehabilitative, or SNF setting preferred
