Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Team Leader to lead our efforts in achieving plant, category, and enterprise goals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for training and coaching partners, maintaining compliance with customer requirements, and overseeing quality, food safety, and sanitation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Initiatives: Develop and implement continuous improvement principles with partners, and lead team efforts to meet or exceed plant, category, and enterprise goals.
  • Customer Requirements: Work with Operations, Sales, and PLS leadership to identify, communicate, and meet customer requirements, and develop processes to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Governmental Regulations: Stay up-to-date on various government regulations, such as OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, and EEOC, and work with our plant and EQFS teams to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Track and maintain control of department budgets to ensure plant goals are met, and participate in capital project analysis, justification, and food safe implementation.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, and interpret and communicate customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food/Dairy Science or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in leadership of Quality Assurance Teams, preferably in the food industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food safety protocols, and ability to travel up to 10%.
