PruittHealth Physical Therapy Assistant

At PruittHealth, we are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed therapists in the execution of physical therapy care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of physical therapy care plans, as prescribed by licensed therapists and physicians.
  • Perform clinical tasks, communication, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow established policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
  • Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
  • Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings in a timely and successful manner.

Licenses, Certifications, and Educational Requirements:
  • Valid professional license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited school. If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a Physical Therapist entry-level education in the U.S. by a credential's evaluation organization approved by the APTA.
