Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Hope Clinic for Women. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for performing clinical assessments and limited obstetric ultrasound examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients to identify potential health issues.
  • Ultrasound Examinations: Perform limited obstetric ultrasound examinations to gather diagnostic information.
  • Analyze Sonograms: Analyze sonograms to identify normal and pathologic findings, and communicate results to the Medical Director or appropriate physician.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that ultrasound equipment and work areas are properly maintained and equipped with adequate supplies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Graduation from a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is required. Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in the specialty as appropriate, or relevant experience in OB specialty, is also required.
  • Current Licenses and Certifications: Current BLS Certification and a valid Driver License are required.
  • Continuing Education: Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for the specialty as appropriate is required.
