POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a secure environment, provide emotional and social support, and address the physical needs and comfort of residents. You will deliver direct care as assigned, following the resident's care plan and under the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional tasks may be assigned by community representatives. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while maintaining the standards set by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in high school or possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of necessary coursework demonstrating competency.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in navigating various software, including electronic health record systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
- Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours as required.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
Shift & Compensation:
- Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
- Shifts Required: 11 PM - 7 AM and 3 PM - 11 PM
- Compensation: Competitive Rates
