As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping our radiologists diagnose medical conditions and provide accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including bone densitometry, general radiography, and fluoroscopy.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information, ensuring the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
