Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Raytheon Careers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Marlborough, MA. As a key member of our Receiver, Exciter, & Back End Processing (REBEP) Department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex embedded software systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legacy radar hardware and software technologies, with experience in porting Unix tools to modern Linux or identifying replacements. You will work closely with our team to support software integration, testing, and verification, as well as assist in proposal writing.

This is a 1st Shift position that requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' of prior work experience.

The successful candidate will have experience with Embedded C and/or Ada software development, FPGA development, and developing on VxWorks and Linux/Unix platforms. A U.S. government issued security clearance is required, and U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
