Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to work part-time nights in our acute care setting. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care, and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in partnership with patients and their families
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a relevant specialty
  • At least 1 year of experience as an NP in an acute care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
