Job Summary:This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care.
- Provide direct patient care, coordinate care with other healthcare team members, and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes, and revise the plan of care as needed.
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in the clinical area for which they are applying is desired.
