As a Registered Nurse at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team and provide routine, standardized nursing care for patients under the supervision of the physician.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care.
- Arrange for patient appointments for diagnostic testing, consults, referrals, and admission to hospital.
- Monitor and maintain stock of medical supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
- Document patient's vital statistics and other encounter data into patient chart and ensure that all required records are in the chart.
- Call in prescriptions for patients according to physician order.
- Prepare exam rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Receive and return clinically related telephone calls; screening and forwarding those requiring physician action.
- Complete medical/physical history forms and other related information for insurance companies.
- Inform physician of changes in schedule.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
- No experience is required.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
