We are seeking a highly skilled WIC Certifier to join our team at Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a WIC Certifier, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional assessments, certifying clients for the WIC program, and prescribing food packages in accordance with federal and state program policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutritional assessments to determine client eligibility for the WIC program
  • Prescribe individually tailored food packages for clients
  • Provide basic health education on nutrition, lactation, and community resources
  • Schedule client appointments and provide telephone communication
  • Document services and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Current Washington State certification as a Medical Assistant-Registered
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
