Veterinary Receptionist

Troy Veterinary Hospital is a unique and dynamic clinic that offers a cross-country car ride experience for pet owners. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Client Service Representative to join our team.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets. As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, greeting clients, preparing patient files, and handling medical records entries accurately.

• Answer telephone calls quickly and efficiently using a multi-line system
• Warmly greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
• Prepare patient files and medical records entries accurately
• Receive and relay client correspondence and updates client financial records
• Answer client inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
• Educate clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
• Admit patients and handle medical records entries accurately
• Prepare client invoices for services performed
• Handle payment transactions
• Receive and relay telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required
• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
• Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
