Job Title: Steward (Dishwasher)

At Silver Ventures, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward (Dishwasher) to join our Food Hall team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Job Summary:

The Steward (Dishwasher) is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. This includes maintaining a clean and organized dish room, washing and sorting soiled dishes, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized dish room, including washing and sorting soiled dishes, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
  • Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff, including keeping the dish area free of clutter and maintaining clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
  • Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks, and maintain the chemical storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
  • Follow the posted daily dish cleaning duties and assist in storage and other duties as set forth or requested by the lead.
  • Work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics, such as food safety, is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently and quickly, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Must be able to stand and work for 8 hours or more, lift 50 pounds at times, and perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
