  4. Maintains labor routing and operator assignments within SAP.
  5. Analyzes data and composes reports to confirm or highlight discrepancies from established standards.
  6. Assesses and presents suggestions to management regarding workforce, timelines, capacity, performance, and other critical performance metrics.
  7. Drafts and enforces work instructions, processes, and procedures for the production floor and department.
  8. Offers technical support and assistance to manufacturing operations.
  9. Reviews processes and procedures with a focus on enhancing and ensuring employee safety.
  10. Prepares and sustains detailed layouts of facilities, assembly zones, and equipment.
  11. Educates production personnel on processes and procedures.
  12. Coordinates the manufacturing launch for new or modified products.
  13. Assists in engineering change orders and modifications to production orders.
  14. Encourages a culture of compliance within the area of responsibility, embodying the principles of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
  15. Undertakes special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering; or 9 years of relevant experience.
  2. Proficiency in the Design of Manufacturing processes.
  3. Strong capability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications.
  4. Exceptional project management abilities.
  5. Outstanding organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Strong analytical and complex problem-solving capabilities.
  8. A mindset geared towards continuous improvement, open to innovative approaches and adaptable working styles.
  9. Familiarity with drafting terminology and conventions.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  11. Negotiation skills.
  12. Proficient in PC applications, MS Office Suite, and MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Hands-on experience with manufacturing simulation and CAD software.
  2. OSHA certification/training.
  3. Experience with SAP.
