About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team at Swift Transportation. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on company-owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigerated units.
  • Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components.
  • Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and understand repair manuals and complete repair orders.
  • Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers.
  • Basic computer skills.
