Job Summary:

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Danville Correctional Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our justice-involved patients.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the guidance of Registered Nurses.
Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient care and treatment plans.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individual treatment programs.
Perform non-professional nursing care duties, including assessments, treatments, and patient education.
Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the nursing department.

Requirements:

Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Illinois.
Current CPR certification.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
One year of clinical experience preferred.
