Job Overview:
AECOM is in search of a qualified Construction Quality Inspector to oversee engineering activities across a diverse range of construction projects, including railroads, bridges, and highways.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of a field construction team, you will be assigned to a general or specialized role. Your primary duties will include supervising construction trades within your designated area.

  • Receive ongoing guidance and oversight in your assigned tasks.
  • Work closely with the Superintendent or Project Manager for technical and operational direction.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of subcontractor activities within your area of responsibility.
  • Monitor subcontractor personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications and uphold quality standards for all installations.
  • Collaborate with others to review manpower, materials, and equipment needs as directed by the supervising superintendent.
  • Enforce established policies, procedures, and work rules as set forth by Field Management.

Safety Compliance:
Support the implementation of a safety program that fosters a secure and healthy work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and record-keeping requirements.

Ensure that safety standards are consistently followed by all personnel in your operational area, and verify that tools and equipment are maintained in safe working condition.
