Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate installation of mechanical components following specifications, schematics, and assembly drawings
  • Utilization of hand and power tools
  • Troubleshooting, inspecting configurations, reworking, repairing, and testing as necessary
  • Providing assistance to the Production Lead
  • Reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and parts lists
  • Gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials for tasks
  • Positioning parts and tools using templates or measurements
  • Assembling components by ensuring correct fit
  • Employing handheld tools and mechanical equipment
  • Verifying specifications through measurement of completed products
  • Addressing assembly issues or product defects by informing supervisors
  • Reworking and/or repairing assembled equipment according to engineering specifications
  • Maintaining operational equipment by adhering to manufacturer and departmental guidelines, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating repairs with supervisor approval
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
  • Optimizing resource use by managing time and energy effectively
  • Documenting actions and issues through production or quality forms
  • Collaborating as a team player to accomplish related tasks
  • Performing additional duties as assigned based on business needs
  • Engaging in cross-training for other production roles as requested
  • Working extended hours as necessary
  • Upholding company policies and procedures while demonstrating professionalism and strong performance
  • Reading and interpreting schematics and diagrams

Successful candidates will be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating punctuality and productivity. Experience in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential. Recent graduates are welcome, provided they are trainable and eager to learn. Applicants must be capable of reading both basic and complex diagrams and schematics.
