Your primary responsibility will be to collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Collect Blood Samples: Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Provide Excellent Patient Care: Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
- Maintain a Safe and Professional Environment: Perform daily activities accurately and on time, and maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Meet Performance Standards: Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care.
- Phlebotomy Skills: Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
- Flexibility: Flexible hours required to potentially work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
- Technical Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision and maintain required records and documentation.
