Job Title: Police Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and upholding the values of the City of Arvada.

Job Summary

The Police Officer will be responsible for:

  • Patrolling assigned areas to prevent and detect crime
  • Responding to emergency calls and providing assistance to the public
  • Investigating crimes and gathering evidence
  • Testifying in court and providing expert testimony
  • Participating in community outreach and education programs
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid Colorado driver's license
  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Pass a background check and polygraph examination
  • Complete a 12-month probationary period
Working Conditions

The Police Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
